PAPER CAKE TRAIL

Today's card was made using this weeks color duo over at The Dynamic Duos. I used White cardstock, a few patterned papers, die cuts and embellishments. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

Today's card was inspired by the color challenge over at The Play Date Cafe. Emboss and trim a Whisper White cardstock panel, then ink the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  Wrap rustic Kraft twine vertically around the left half of the Whisper White panel three times and tie a double bow near the center. Die cut or punch a border from textured Red paper, glue a strip of patterned paper across it, and attach the strips across the middle to lower part of the Whisper White panel using dimensionals. Stamp a Red heart onto a one inch Whisper White circle.  Die cut a tag from Whisper White cardstock, stamp a sentiment in Red onto it, and ink the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  Thread the tag and heart onto the twine bow and affix a wooden clothespin onto the bow.  To this add a Red pearl.  Mount the entire embellished panel onto a Basic Black cardstock card base.
