PAPER CAKE TRAIL

Today's card was made using this weeks Colour Q challenge. I used pretty patterned paper from Graphics 45 & Stampin' Up!  The die cuts, stamp, pearl, rhinestone, pom pom ribbon and brad are all from Stampin' Up! as well. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

For this weeks ColourQ challenge, I created a pretty card for Mum. Supplies Used: Paper: Stampin' Up!, Bo Bunny, Brazzil Tools: Square Punch, Emb ossing Folder, Big Shot, Corner Round Punch , Build a Blossom Punch. Accessories: Paper and Knit flower, Button, Adhesive.

Happy Friday my friends, I saw a pretty card just like this on pinterst and thought these stamp s ets were perfect for this weeks color challenge over at the Colour Q blogspot.  I used the Stamp Sets 'Field Flowers' & 'Quint-Essential Flower', along with the coordinating punches and pretty 1/2 back pearls I found at my local craft store. 2 more days my friends...yes 2, until I hop on a plane to EUROPE.  This is a dream holiday for me and I'm super pumped. Here is today's card using the color scheme over at the colourq blog. I began on a piece of Whisper White.  I scrounged around for a strip of Bashful Blue patterned paper and some Night of Navy patterned paper.   I inked the edges with some Crumb Cake ink, then used it to stamp my petal.  I stamped the floral image onto some Bashful Blue using Night of Navy ink, cut, shaded and raised them on dimensionals before adhering to the paper mat.  I finished it off with a sentiment using Rich Razzleberry ink and added some pearls to the flowers. Today's card was inspired by the color scheme over at the colourq blogspot.   I began with Poppy Parade and layered on some  coordinating paper from Authentique.  I then layered some Whisper White onto some Poppy Parade and border punched the bottom. Finished off with a flower punch, circle punch, Crumb Cake button and a birthday sentiment. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

I began on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the paper mat and adhered that.  But, before doing so, I added the twine.  I then stamped the pretty image onto the mat and card base with a birthday sentiment.  I finished it off with a pretty fabric flower with paper leaves and a coordinating button. Today's card is inspired by the inspiration photo over at the colourq blog .  I border punched some Pear Pizzaz then sewed on a piece of Always Artichoke patterned paper, then adhered that to a piece of Whisper White cardstock..  I flagged three piece of various patterned paper and adhered them.  I then added some bakers twine, buttons, prima flower and a 'fathers day sentiment' which I stamped on some twill tape. Today's card is inspired by the color over at colourq .  I began with a piece of Whisper White cardstock which I stamped in Baja Breeze with the Vintage Vogue Stampin wheel.   I punched out three 1 1/4' circle punchs for the scalloped edges and cut them in half.  The first layer is Cherry Cobbler polka dot patterned paper and the second layer is So Saffron patterned paper.  I punched out some butterflies and finished then off with Yellow rhinestones.  Some White seam binding and Just for You sentiment complete this card. This is my entry for the Colourq challenge. I started off with a Crumb Cake card base, which I embossed using the stripes textured impressions embossing folder die.  I used Old Olive for the as a base center mat followed by some pretty designer series paper ( i'm not sure of the name, but it's Stampin' Up!).  I stamped the image using a retired stamp from Stampin' Up! and matted it on More Mustard.  For the sentiment I used the Lots of Tags  Sizzix die cut.  For the finishing touches I used the 3/16" corner punch , some Walnut stain to warm up the edges,  Red Cobbler colored flower button, and some rustic twine .    Until next time!   Alyson
