PAPER CAKE TRAIL

Happy Sunday my friends.  Today some of my family have come in from out of town to do some spring skiing.  The weather here has been exceptional , usually between +7 / +10.   I had gone yesterday and tortured my quads.  So, today I am vegging. Today's card was inspired by the week's color challenge over at the Just add Ink blogspot.   All papers, tools and most accessories are from Stampin' Up! Have a wonderful day, and thank you for stopping by! Alyson

This is one of the cards that we will be creating at my next class.  I also chose this card for the 'Spring Themed' challenge over at Stampin' Royalty. I began my creation on a piece of Mellow Moss cardstock.  This has been retired for awhile now, but I bought tons of it, because I love this color so much.   The first layer is a patterned piece from Bo Bunny.  They have a great spring line out at the moment.  The second layer is a piece of polka dot textured Whisper White.  For this, I punched out the side, then stamped and placed a center piece with a Pink rhinestone.   I finished this card off, with a Regal Rose flower punch, a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment and a darling cupcake sticker.  Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

This is my entry for the m ojo monday sketch challenge.  I started off with an Orchid Opulence card base, followed by some retired Stampin' Up! designer series paper, Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry.  Finished off with a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment, Clear rhinestones and a Prima flower. Until Next Time! Alyson
