The Ribbon Reel Challenge #39 'Shabby Naturals'

This card was inspired by the pretty inspiration photo over at  The Ribbon Reel . I began on some Crumb Cake cardstock.  To that, I layered some Brown cardstock and ran it through my big shot using the wood grain embossing folder.  Before adding my stamped image I placed some cheesecloth on the top and bottom corners.  I finished it off with Green leafs, some twine, a chrome mini key and a shimmery bird. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

Challenge #32 Sweet Sparkles

Today's card was inspired by the inspiration photo over at  the ribbon reel challenge blogspot.   I mounted lined paper on a piece of Domestic Goddess Designer patterned paper, and stamped a French inspired image on the left upper corner in 'Bashful Blue'.  I then adhered a piece of Brown polka dot paper across the bottom of the panels and machine stitched around the edges with Brown thread.  I punched a floral border with Pink checker patterned paper and layered it down on the right side of the panel.   White organza ribbon is wrapped around the middle with a bow tied and a Pink button. 'From the Heart' is stamped in Brown ink,  punched out with an Oval scalloped punch and adhered with foam adhesive.   A piece of Green patterned paper was die cut as well as a heart from upcycled paper, and placed on the lower left side of the panel.  Finally, butterflies were added with sparkling Yellow rhinestones. Challenge #30 Strawberries & Cream

Today's card was inspired by the inspiration photo over at the ribbon reel challenge blogspot.   I began my creation an a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. The first layer is a piece of Bo Bunny patterned paper, the third layer is a strip of the other side which I have stitched on.  I die cut a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped my sentiment using Lady Bug due drop ink.  The butterfly punch comes from upcycled cardboard which I have inked using Whisper White.  I handmade the Pink satin flower and gave it some light brown leaves.  Finishing it off with a Clear rhinestone, Pink button, lace and twine. Ribbon Reel Spring Colors & Mojo Monday 241

Today I decided to make a card based on 2 challenges. The Ribbon Reel Challenge & Mojo Monday . I took a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using the stripes embossing folder. I then shaded the edges with some Whisper White craft ink to give the edges a beautiful soft look.  I had a left over piece of polka dot Blushing Bride which have the edges inked aa weel and adhered that to my base.  The second layer is a piece from Melissa France, along with a piece of handmade lavender paper.  I took a cute little doily and stuck a Melissa Frances sticker onto the center and finished it all off with a greenish button and twine. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

Black Pearl

This is my entry for the Ribbon Reel challenge. I began my creation with a piece of Soft Suede cardstock.  I sifted through my scraps and found some textured Kraft and patterned paper by K&Company.  The illustration is printed and the anchor image is from the Open Sea stamp set.  I finished off this card with, brads, twine, a black pearl and mini safety pin. The theme is Newsprint & here is the inspirational photo: Thank you for stopping by. Alyson
