PAPER CAKE TRAIL

Today's card was made for this weeks challenges over at Handstamped Sentiments & Dynamic Duos. I used some Pink Pirouette for my base, along with two layers of different patterned paper.  I stamped a swirl image onto the second layer, as well as stamped polka dots on the third layer.  I finished it with some stitching and other toppings. I designed today's card using two challenges from The Shabby Tea Room & Mojo Monday. Adhere Aqua colored paper to some pink patterned paper and affix that to a Whisper White base.  Stamp a sentiment onto Pink paper and set that on top of a White paper doily.  Add some White lace trim to the upper border of the pink paper, along with some Pink seam binding.  Add a glitter heart and glitter brad for some sparkly finishing touches. Today 's c ard was inspired by the colour challenge over at The Play Date Cafe. I began by covering the bottom of a White cardstock card base with Rose/Green patterned paper and rounded the bottom corners.   I stamped a flower/leaves image on the left side of the card above the paper panel.   I trimmed a strip from textured pink cardstock, stamped With Love onto it and adhered die cut White scallops to the top and bottom edges of the strip , then adhered it to the top of the patterned paper mat.  I punched two butterflies in Grey/White polka dot patter ned paper, bent the wings and glued them in place.  Two buttons and a White prima flower are glued to the base of the stamped image.   To finished it all off I added Clear rhinestones across the front. Today's card was made for the challenge over at Dynamic Duos.   The card sketch is CASed from this pretty card over here. Begin on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.  Layer on a piece of Certainly Celery patterned paper, along with a White stamped panel.  Using Pink cardstock use a daisy die cut and flower punch . Then using Certainly Celery punch out some leaves.   Adhere and embellish as desired. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson
