PAPER CAKE TRAIL

Yippee......It's Friday.....I hope everyone is ready for the weekend.  Today's project was made using this week's Mixed Media Color Challenge .   I started by using some gesso on my page, to this I added some pink paint.  I then used some stamps and stensils for texture.  I used my gelatos to make the cute hearts and stars.  I stamped the girl onto some Very Vanilla and cut her out.  The dress was stamped onto some pretty patterned paper, cut and pasted.  I'm not quite sure how the dress ended up green.  To finish it off, I used some moulding paste, buttons and rubons. Hello friends.  Today I wanted to share a mixed media tag I made for a new challenge over at A Mixed Media Color Challenge . I began my project on a large manilla envelope, which I painted with Gesso.  I then layered on some Decopage and placed some beautiful black and white Tim Holtz tissue paper onto the tag, and reapplied more Decopage.  Once dry,  I applied some semi transparent pink and white paint. When the paint was dry I took some stamps and black stazon ink to create texture.  I also used some metallic ink (can't see to well in photos) and mesh to create another really pretty texture.  Its hard to see, but on the right side I used some moulding paste and stamped into it for more added texture.   I then stamped an Eiffel tower image onto some book paper using black stazon, cut and paste with Decopage, as well as with the 'Paris' word.
