The Paper Players and 'Merry Christmas'

Happy Sunday to all my Crafty friends.  It's the end of another glorious week.  Today's card was made using this weeks Paper Players Snowflake theme challenge. A super cute card with layers and fun embellishments.  Crumb Cake paper base toped with patterned paper and Vellum.  The snowman was made using a PTI die cut and was embellished with Blue ribbon.

Halloween Card

Today's card was made using this week's Shabby Tea Room sketch and the theme of Halloween over at The Paper Players. I used a variety of Halloween patterns, colors, die cuts and sentiment. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

Hello Card

Birthday Wishes

Hello my friends, I'm enjoying a day of solitude while the family is out for the day.  I'm at home sick with the stomach flu, but, am getting better by the hour.  It's so much easier to heal when its quiet. Today's card was made using this weeks color challenge over at The Paper Players blogspot. Stampin' Up! has a few product suites that have these very color combinations in them, how perfect is that.  So, together with those papers, some tools and accessories this pretty card came to be. I hope you are all having a happy Tuesday. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

The Paper Players ~ 108

Good day everyone.  Today's card was made using the colours over at The Paper Players.   I think this would make a great Masculine card!   Begin on a piece of White cardstock and round the bottom edges.  Adhere some coordinating paper with a stamped sentiment, round bottom edges. Cut a Cherry Cobbler strip and adhere punched out floral blossoms.  Cut out triangles in coordinating colours and adhere to the twine.  Finish off with mini clothes pins and a button. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

Challenge #102 - A Theme Challenge "Christmas in July"

Today's card was inspired by this pretty card over here along with the Christmas in July theme here. I began on a White circle scallop cardstock base from my now closed local craft store.  I used Melissa Frances Christmas paper, along with some vellum.  The red glitter star, lace, ribbon, button and brad make this card extra special. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

Paper Players #96

Today's card was inspired by the Polka Dot theme over at the paper players.   I began on some Sahara Sand cardstock.  I used my Whisper White ink and inked the edges.  I layered on some pretty patterned paper from My Minds Eye .  I made the paper bow using Sage Shadow and inked these edges with Whisper White as well. I got these embellishments from Websters pages and they are to die for. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

Heartfelt Thanks

This is my entry for the The Paper Players and Stamping411 challenges. This card was made with a Very Vanilla cardstock base.  I used Pear Pizzazz for the first layer and embossed it with the stripes embossing folder.  The third layer is Dafodill Delight with a border. The fourth layer is a beautiful piece of designer paper.  The fifth layer is a Very Vanilla mat that I hand stamped using various Stampin' Up! stamps.   Here is the sketch I used: Thanks for stopping by!
