Hello friends. Today I wanted to share a mixed media tag I made for a new challenge over at A Mixed Media Color Challenge . I began my project on a large manilla envelope, which I painted with Gesso. I then layered on some Decopage and placed some beautiful black and white Tim Holtz tissue paper onto the tag, and reapplied more Decopage. Once dry, I applied some semi transparent pink and white paint. When the paint was dry I took some stamps and black stazon ink to create texture. I also used some metallic ink (can't see to well in photos) and mesh to create another really pretty texture. Its hard to see, but on the right side I used some moulding paste and stamped into it for more added texture. I then stamped an Eiffel tower image onto some book paper using black stazon, cut and paste with Decopage, as well as with the 'Paris' word.
