PAPER CAKE TRAIL

Today's card was made using this weeks color challenge over at Color Q. I must admit that for me it was a tough color combo.  I used some Whisper White along with some coordinating patterns from my blue bin, die cuts, punches, embellishments and a sentiment from a Stampin' Up! set. I'm a little late in posting my card for the Friday Mashup.  I have been busy working, preparing, baking and freezing Christmas goodies. This card was inspired by the inspiration photo over at the Friday Mashup.   I choose to use the colours Daffodil Delight, Basic Grey & Basic Black.   I mounted a stamped mat onto a piece of basic grey cardstock.  To that I added a wedding sentiment,  ribbon and rhinestones. So here is the  "Mashup"  Challenge: Make a project with  "Dry Embossing " . Or Make a project using the colors  " Daffodil Delight, Basic Grey & Basic Black" .* Or  "Mash it Up"  and create a project with  "Dry Embossing & The Color Combo" .

Hi all, today's card is for a friend of mine who lost someone very special. I used the inspiration photo over here.  I began on a piece of So Saffron cardstock, with some soft Grey patterned paper.  I coloured the White fabric flower, added a button and adhered that to some patterned paper.  I matted these onto some basic Gray and finished it off with White organza ribbon.
