PAPER CAKE TRAIL

This is my creation for the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge. I began my creation on a piece of White confetti cardstock.  I punched the White strip with a retired Stampin' wheel in Certainly Celery.  The top and bottom piece were punched out using Concord Crush.  The tag was stamped using the new 'Summer Smooches' stamp set in Certainly Celery, Marina Mist and Concord Crush.  I finished this card off with a cute little sentiment, ribbon and rhinestone. Today I am entering my card in two different challenges.  I always like to pick a color challenge with a sketch challenge. I chose the color combo from  Colour Q #130 and the sketch from  Just-Add-Ink . I love this new stamp set Summer Smooches, that will be available April 01-30.  It's super cute a quite versatile. I began my creation a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock.  The first layer is Certainly Celery and measures 4" x 5 1/4".  The second layer is an embossed piece of Whisper White cardstock and measures 3 3/4" x 5".  I stamped the tulips using Melon Mambo, and the other image using Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Daffodil delight.
