Dynamic Duos ~ Your Choice Week ~

Today's card was made using this week's Dynamic Duos challenge.  This week we're using Gumball Green and we get to pick the other color.  I chose Primrose Petals.  I didn't have any Gumball Green on hand, so I did find something that was close.  Right now I am really loving the Botanical Tea collection by Graphics 45.  The paper is all so beautiful. I began on some Whisper White paper followed by some layers of patterned and textured paper.  To this I added my sweet little paper sweetie Abigail to some paper layers and adhered those to the card with dimensionals.  To finish her off I added some stickles and candy dot. Color Throwdown 284 and an 'I AM' Journal Page

Today's journal page was made using this week's Color Throwdown challenge and for Tracy Weinzapfel' s March challenge titled  'I AM'.  The words I chose were Strong, Happy, Loving, Fun, Confident and Creative.  I could have went on and on but I only had 6 petals. To create my page I used Gesso, Decopauge, colored paints, texture, patterned and solid colored cardstock, rub ons, punches, twine, purple rhinestones and a White pearl. Dynamic Duos 94 ~ Black Tie Week ~

I actually made two card using this week's Dynamic Duos challenge.  This week they are looking for projects using Black and More Mustard with the dessert option of dry embossing.   My first card uses the Whitewash Technique.  I stamped my image using versamark and white embossing powder.  Once heat set, I used White ink to achieve the washed look followed by a little More Mustard ink in the centers.  I stamped the butterfly onto the Kraft paper, then stamped it onto vellum using versamark, followed by Black embossing powder.  Image was trimmed and raised up on pop dots for a 3D look. My second card using the tulip border embossing folder, flower pot die cut and circle punches. Happy Saturday sweet crafters. I've recently pulled out my fun flowers die, using it on everything.  I love how all three layers create such a fun full flower. I chose the clean and layered design.
