PAPER CAKE TRAIL

  Today's card was inspired my the technique challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments. I began on Crumb Cake.  I ran some more Crumb Cake through my big shot using a Vintage patterned embossing folder that I inked White.  I topped it off with a pumpkin die cut, ribbon, lace, buttons, a prima flower. This card was inspired by the pretty inspiration photo over at  The Ribbon Reel . I began on some Crumb Cake cardstock.  To that, I layered some Brown cardstock and ran it through my big shot using the wood grain embossing folder.  Before adding my stamped image I placed some cheesecloth on the top and bottom corners.  I finished it off with Green leafs, some twine, a chrome mini key and a shimmery bird. Good morning, today I have made a card using the fun colors over at The Play Date Cafe .     I was able to dig up some scraps for this one.  I used bits and pieces of many patterns.  I began on some Crumb Cake and distressed the edges White.  I layered on some Pear Pizzazz along with shabby pink and ledger patterned paper.  I ran some pretty pink patterned paper through my big shot using a bigz butterflies die cut. I finished it all off with tangerine pieces, Gren brad and rustic Cream twine. Thank you for stopping by! Alyson

As I was surfing the net I came upon a really cute Halloween card I just had to CAS.  You can find this pretty card over here, along with her blog here. Today's card came from the pumpkin theme over at  Hand Stamped Sentiments. I used Elegant Eggplant for my base and top mat.  I ran the mat through my big shot using the wood grain embossing folder.  The flower vine was cut using my cricket and is adhered to some Lime Green cardstock.  The Pumpkin is embellished with purple ribbon, twine, White button and leaf stick pins. Good morning and happy Sunday.  I always look forward to Sunday's because it truly is the only day of the week that we get to relax in our very busy home.   I was chosen to be this weeks guest designer over at Sunday Stamps , and I must say what an honor.  Today's card was inspired by the up and coming Christmas season, along with the lovely colors chosen for this week: Here is how I created this card: Stitch some Regal Rose and lighter Rose/Pink cardstock onto some painted Crumb Cake cardstock.  Add diamond dust to your Bella Bleu die cut snowflake and Not Quite Navy snowflake stamped die cut jar. Adhere snowflake and jar with glue and dimensionals.  I find the larger diamond dust makes for more difficult adhering, so I use my glue gun.  Add pearls to a die cut Rose/Pink coloured tree and adhere to jar.  Finish off with a stamped sentiment in Not Quite Navy , White buttons, Cream seam binding and Blue/White bakers twine. ...

Today's card was inspired by the color challenge over at The Dynamic Duos. Because Blushing Blossom is no longer available I thought I would use the next best thing, Blushing Bride. To this I added a Pool Party patterned paper mat. I ran a piece of Soft Suede into my big shot using the Top Note die cut.  I then used a swirl embossing folder to give it some texture, along with a piece of Pool Party ribbon.  I punched nine scallops, six 1 3/8" circles and three 1" circles.  I crinkled them, rolled up the edges and added some buttons.  My leaves were punched out using River Rock.  I added some River Rock chalk around the edges to give them more depth.  Thank You for stopping by !
