Dynamic Duos #24 - Pool Party and Soft Suede

Today's card was inspired by the color challenge over at The Dynamic Duos.

Because Blushing Blossom is no longer available I thought I would use the next best thing, Blushing Bride. To this I added a Pool Party patterned paper mat. I ran a piece of Soft Suede into my big shot using the Top Note die cut.  I then used a swirl embossing folder to give it some texture, along with a piece of Pool Party ribbon.  I punched nine scallops, six 1 3/8" circles and three 1" circles.  I crinkled them, rolled up the edges and added some buttons.  My leaves were punched out using River Rock.  I added some River Rock chalk around the edges to give them more depth.
Thank You for stopping by !

Colour Me and Feel Better

Today's card was made using this week's Colour Me challenge.  This week's colour is Daffodil Delight.  I decided to make a Feel Better card since Yellow is such a happy colour. I used Kraft, Daffodil Delight and Basic Gray cardstock.  The pattern is from the New All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack.  The sweet stamped image is Pure Innocence - My Umbrella and is coloured using Blendability and Copic markers.  Thanks for dropping!  Please feel free to leave a comment. =) If you have any questions regarding Stampin’ Up! products, please visit my SU! 24/7 Online Store , or send me am email at papercaketrail@gmail.com. Gold Star

This is my entry for the Mojo Monday challlenge.  This has been a very busy week, with working 2 jobs, weight training, and writing a final exam, I have had very little time to relax and craft.  I was unable to come up with my own idea and cased this card from Teresa Kline/Paperie Blooms .  Now that I am done my course I have a little more free time. Until next time.
