The Paper Players and 'Merry Christmas'

Happy Sunday to all my Crafty friends.  It's the end of another glorious week.  Today's card was made using this weeks Paper Players Snowflake theme challenge.




A super cute card with layers and fun embellishments.  Crumb Cake paper base toped with patterned paper and Vellum.  The snowman was made using a PTI die cut and was embellished with Blue ribbon.

    This snowman is adorable and I he looks fabulous off-set from the center. The vellum layer is gorgeous and the soft colors so serene. Great card--thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

Summer Smooches

Today I am entering my card in two different challenges.  I always like to pick a color challenge with a sketch challenge. I chose the color combo from  Colour Q #130 and the sketch from  Just-Add-Ink . I love this new stamp set Summer Smooches, that will be available April 01-30.  It's super cute a quite versatile. I began my creation a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock.  The first layer is Certainly Celery and measures 4" x 5 1/4".  The second layer is an embossed piece of Whisper White cardstock and measures 3 3/4" x 5".  I stamped the tulips using Melon Mambo, and the other image using Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Daffodil delight. CASE Study Challenge #133 & Happy Birthday

For this weeks CASE study challenge, I used a variety of papers and embellishments.  Michaels was having a 30% off sale on many of their stickers, so a bought a pile and used some in this card.   I used many layers of paper with a variety of patterns along with die cuts & embellishments from Martha Stewart to Stampin' Up! and Creative Memories.
