The Shabby Tea Room # 217 ~ Pretty Prints ~

Today's project was made using this week's Shabby Tea Room challenge.  This weeks is ~ Pretty Prints ~ using fabrics, and I chose to create a wall hanging.  I actually made two of these and one is for a lady at work who is going through a rough time with a fellow employee.  I wanted it to be fun, bright and happy for her.

To create my project I began on some burlap.  To this I added a batting and fabric mat.  To that, I added various other fabric patterns and shapes then stitched everything together using various stitching patterns.  To this, I added White crochet flowers, lace, buttons and seam binding.

Colour Me and Feel Better

Today's card was made using this week's Colour Me challenge.  This week's colour is Daffodil Delight.  I decided to make a Feel Better card since Yellow is such a happy colour. I used Kraft, Daffodil Delight and Basic Gray cardstock.  The pattern is from the New All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack.  The sweet stamped image is Pure Innocence - My Umbrella and is coloured using Blendability and Copic markers.  Thanks for dropping!  Please feel free to leave a comment. =) If you have any questions regarding Stampin’ Up! products, please visit my SU! 24/7 Online Store , or send me am email at papercaketrail@gmail.com. Gold Star

This is my entry for the Mojo Monday challlenge.  This has been a very busy week, with working 2 jobs, weight training, and writing a final exam, I have had very little time to relax and craft.  I was unable to come up with my own idea and cased this card from Teresa Kline/Paperie Blooms .  Now that I am done my course I have a little more free time. Until next time.
