Dynamic Duos #99 ~ Black Tie ~ Week with Gold Option

I thought this week's colours were perfect for a Christmas project.....silly me right!
I'm big into giving gift cards as gifts.  Most people have everything they need.  This way they can get something they want on me.

I decorated every side of this card holder using Black glitter paper along with Rich Razzleberry paper patterns.  I used Gold foil paper for the tree die cuts and gold ribbon.

~ Supplies Used ~
Ink: Basic Black,  Rich Razzleberry.
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Ornament Keepsakes.
Paper: Black Glitter, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry Patterns, Gold Foil.
Tools/Accessories: Big Shot, Die Cuts, Gold Ribbon, Button, Twine.

Thanks for dropping!  Please feel free to leave a comment. =)

  1. Alyson, this is an awesome gift card holder, and I think the colors were perfect for Christmas. And, now you are one more gift holder close to what you will need come Christmas Season! I just love how you decorated every part of it. That gold tree on the front is fabulous. I believe I made one of these one time from an envelope, right? Can you send me a link if you have instructions? Thanks for sharing with the Dynamic Duos this week!

Gold Star

This is my entry for the Mojo Monday challlenge.  This has been a very busy week, with working 2 jobs, weight training, and writing a final exam, I have had very little time to relax and craft.  I was unable to come up with my own idea and cased this card from Teresa Kline/Paperie Blooms .  Now that I am done my course I have a little more free time. Until next time.

Summer Smooches

Today I am entering my card in two different challenges.  I always like to pick a color challenge with a sketch challenge. I chose the color combo from  Colour Q #130 and the sketch from  Just-Add-Ink . I love this new stamp set Summer Smooches, that will be available April 01-30.  It's super cute a quite versatile. I began my creation a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock.  The first layer is Certainly Celery and measures 4" x 5 1/4".  The second layer is an embossed piece of Whisper White cardstock and measures 3 3/4" x 5".  I stamped the tulips using Melon Mambo, and the other image using Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Daffodil delight. Here are the sketch and colors:

CASE Study Challenge #133 & Happy Birthday

For this weeks CASE study challenge, I used a variety of papers and embellishments.  Michaels was having a 30% off sale on many of their stickers, so a bought a pile and used some in this card.   I used many layers of paper with a variety of patterns along with die cuts & embellishments from Martha Stewart to Stampin' Up! and Creative Memories. Happy Sunday! Alyson
