Today's tag was made using this week's stampin royalty challenge. I began this tag by adding some gesso and blue paint.  I then appiled a doily, scalloped border, stamps and doodling for texture.  To this I added dimension with papers, lace, rhinestones and twine.  The finishings include and sentiment, stick pin,and mini clothes pin. Hello friends.  Today I wanted to share a mixed media tag I made for a new challenge over at A Mixed Media Color Challenge . I began my project on a large manilla envelope, which I painted with Gesso.  I then layered on some Decopage and placed some beautiful black and white Tim Holtz tissue paper onto the tag, and reapplied more Decopage.  Once dry,  I applied some semi transparent pink and white paint. When the paint was dry I took some stamps and black stazon ink to create texture.  I also used some metallic ink (can't see to well in photos) and mesh to create another really pretty texture.  Its hard to see, but on the right side I used some moulding paste and stamped into it for more added texture.   I then stamped an Eiffel tower image onto some book paper using black stazon, cut and paste with Decopage, as well as with the 'Paris' word. Hello friends, today I wanted to share a set of cards I made for a card swap.  I'm really into card swaps lately, I think it's a great way to get some awesome ideas for layouts, colour and much more.  The idea for these came off Pinterest.   I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set, along with the new in colours, Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush.
