Happy Easter

Hello my friends, Happy Valentine's Day to all.  I'm curious as to what hubby has in store more me.....Flowers....Chocolate...Dinner.

anyway....
today's card was made for this weeks challenges over at the Mojo Monday & Play Date Cafe blogspots.

I used a variety of patterns, which I love to do, along with a little punch art, washi tape, lace trim, bakers twine and other toppings for this adorable Easter card.

Summer Smooches

Today I am entering my card in two different challenges.  I always like to pick a color challenge with a sketch challenge. I chose the color combo from  Colour Q #130 and the sketch from  Just-Add-Ink . I love this new stamp set Summer Smooches, that will be available April 01-30.  It's super cute a quite versatile. I began my creation a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock.  The first layer is Certainly Celery and measures 4" x 5 1/4".  The second layer is an embossed piece of Whisper White cardstock and measures 3 3/4" x 5".  I stamped the tulips using Melon Mambo, and the other image using Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Daffodil delight. CASE Study Challenge #133 & Happy Birthday

For this weeks CASE study challenge, I used a variety of papers and embellishments.  Michaels was having a 30% off sale on many of their stickers, so a bought a pile and used some in this card.   I used many layers of paper with a variety of patterns along with die cuts & embellishments from Martha Stewart to Stampin' Up! and Creative Memories.
