Warm Wishes - CR84FN - 67

Today's card was created using the Colour Challenge over at CR84FN.

I began by mating a panel of plum coloured damask paper with Whisper White, then zigzag stitched around the edges.  Then, I die cut a label from light plum patterned paper and adhered it slightly to the right of the stitched panel.  I used my Cricut to cut out the Brushed Gold heart and adhered that to the panel.  Pretty White lace trim is glued to the left of the panel and Sandstone seam binding is wrapped around the panel to the right of the lace trim.  To the bow I added a Plum coloured button with Rustic Kraft twine and a die cut tag with a 'Warm Wishes' sentiment.  I die cut a snowflake from White textured paper adding a pearl and affixed that to the Gold heart.  Finally, I mounted the entire panel onto a Crumb Cake cardstock base.

Thank you for stopping by!

Gold Star

This is my entry for the Mojo Monday challlenge.  This has been a very busy week, with working 2 jobs, weight training, and writing a final exam, I have had very little time to relax and craft.  I was unable to come up with my own idea and cased this card from Teresa Kline/Paperie Blooms .  Now that I am done my course I have a little more free time. Until next time.

Summer Smooches

Today I am entering my card in two different challenges.  I always like to pick a color challenge with a sketch challenge. I chose the color combo from  Colour Q #130 and the sketch from  Just-Add-Ink . I love this new stamp set Summer Smooches, that will be available April 01-30.  It's super cute a quite versatile. I began my creation a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock.  The first layer is Certainly Celery and measures 4" x 5 1/4".  The second layer is an embossed piece of Whisper White cardstock and measures 3 3/4" x 5".  I stamped the tulips using Melon Mambo, and the other image using Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Daffodil delight. Here are the sketch and colors:

CASE Study Challenge #133 & Happy Birthday

For this weeks CASE study challenge, I used a variety of papers and embellishments.  Michaels was having a 30% off sale on many of their stickers, so a bought a pile and used some in this card.   I used many layers of paper with a variety of patterns along with die cuts & embellishments from Martha Stewart to Stampin' Up! and Creative Memories. Happy Sunday! Alyson
