FM86.. It's a Non Tradition!

Today's card is for the challenge over at The Friday Mashup!

I covered the top half of a Very Vanilla card base with Blue patterned paper and the bottom half with vintage style Red/Cream dotted patterned paper and inked the edges of the Card with Crumb Cake.  I die cut a long ticket border from Red/Cream doily paper, inked the edges with Crumb Cake, and layered it across the seam of the papers.  Some White lace was tucked under the ticket border.  At the bottom right corner you'll notice a small stitched zigzag horizontal line.  Two labels were die cut using textured White paper and lined paper, then mounted on the center of the card.  A sentiment was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink onto a Very Vanilla notched strip, edges inked, and affixed across the upper right corner of the labels.  A White half back pearl is added to the right of the strip.  I die cut a basket with Brown/Cream paper and wrapped White rustic twine around the top half of the basket and added a White button with the same twine in the left side.  The basket was them mounted with pop dots.  Three Silver snowflakes and two Silver circles were punched and adhered to the card.  Finally, a postage label was stamped, punched, and added with a mini clothes pin, and adhered to the basket.

Thanks for stopping by!

Gold Star

This is my entry for the Mojo Monday challlenge.  This has been a very busy week, with working 2 jobs, weight training, and writing a final exam, I have had very little time to relax and craft.  I was unable to come up with my own idea and cased this card from Teresa Kline/Paperie Blooms .  Now that I am done my course I have a little more free time. Until next time.
